I have been in the veterinary business for over 25 years and this place has THE BEST work environment. Not only are the doctors here great at their profession, but they are wonderful people. I started at Windy Hollow as a junior at Franklin County Technical School on Co-op for the Animal and Veterinary Science program. When I started here, I wasn’t sure if a career in veterinary medicine was for me. Everyone here was so supportive and has helped me learn and expand my skills. Working here has cemented my love for veterinary medicine and was the driving force for me to go to college to become a veterinarian. I am currently a sophomore at Umass-Amherst and hope to continue working here throughout my undergraduate degree.
I have worked at Windy Hollow for a total of 4 years. Like all who are drawn to the field of vet med, I love animals and being around them brightens my day. But the true highlight for me is seeing the people so dedicated to the pets’ well being- both our clients who adore their 4 legged family members, and my coworkers who put so much effort into caring for them. During my time here I have been fortunate to work with a group of people who are knowledgeable, funny, and exceptionally talented. I go to work knowing I will be supported, and my contributions will be valued. It is a joy to be part of a team that puts light, and compassion into everything that they do.
